Iranian exports of medical plants in the first four months of the current Iranian calendar year (March 20-July 21) increased by 120 percent in volume compared with last year.
Exports of the mentioned products also increased by 46 percent in terms of weight in the said four months.
Export items which have grown in the include Asafoetida, fennel seeds, coriander seeds and other extracts. Main export markets have been Turkey, India, Pakistan, Iraq and Germany.
