The largest diary in Slovenia has exported the first shipment of its Planica ice cream to China, part of a total export shipment of 43 tonnes planned to be exported in 2020.
The company said that the launch of exports to one of the world’s biggest markets was a major breakthrough, especially considering the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.
The export was sent to China from the port of Koper by seafreight on April 9 and is expected to reach its destination within five weeks, the company said in a press release.
