Beef from the USA which was once avoided by consumers who feared mad cow disease, now represents half of total beef imports to South Korea.
According to the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs, 209,034 tons of US beef were imported in the first ten months of the year. That’s a 7.9 percent over last year.
