Turkey has exported 3,088 tons of tea valued at $10.8 million to 103 different countries in the first nine months of 2019, according to statistics from the Eastern Black Sea Exporters Association (DKİB).
During last year, Turkey exported 2,035 tons of tea during the same period. Tea exports increased 52% in quantity and 30% in value compared to the same period of last year.
Belgium took the lead with tea imports of $4.5 million, followed by Germany and Northern Cyprus.
