From January to August 2019, Turkey exported around 2 million tons of fresh fruit and vegetable exports to 114 countries in the first eight months of the year, generating $1.2 billion in revenue.
The Russian Federation was the main importer of Turkey’s fresh fruit and vegetable exports at 455,190 tons. Fresh fruit and vegetables exported to the Russian Federation amounted to $375.4 million, followed by Germany, Iraq and Romania with $81.5 million and Ukraine.
