Overseas buyers want more U.S. beef, and are willing to pay a higher price. Beef exports remained at a record high in October, according to data compiled by the U.S. Meat Export Federation.
October was another month of excellent beef export sales.
From January to October,
Beef exports increased by 9% year-over-year
Beef export increased by 17%
Exports of beef muscle meat increased 12% in volume and 19% in value ($6.19 billion).
“Beef exports really remain on a major roll,” said the communications director of the U.S. Meat Export Federation.
