An American-made yellow bus, built in New York has been exported to South Korea and is taking pupils to and from school.
The manufacturer struck a deal earlier this year, to export at least 100 yellow school buses annually to Seoul-based J.S. Alliance.
“There is a real need for the yellow school bus in South Korea and we are proud to import the buses,” J.S. Alliance CEO Sungwon Bae said in a statement.
The first, a short 30-seat bus, was shipped from California and delivered in January, before being tested for safety. It is now ferrying students to and from school.
