Imports of German cars into Korea showed a significant increase, in the first half of 2018, and improved European carmakers’ market share. Smaller numbers of Japanese and American cars were imported.
According to the Korea Automobile Importers and Distributors Association, European cars had a 77.8 percent market share in the first half, up 3.9 percentage points from the same period of last year.
