An outdoor adventure shoemaker in India plans to expand its reach in the overseas market, aiming to double its revenue from exports in the next 3-4 years.
The parent company plans to increase its business from exports by strengthening its presence in markets such as the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS), Russia, China and the Middle East.
The Managing Director said; “Currently, we are exporting to markets such as the Asia-Pacific and East Europe. About 25 per cent of the revenues are from exports. The domestic market contributes about 75 per cent to revenues. In the next 3-4 years, we are looking to increase our export revenue to 50 per cent.”
He also said that the company has steady export growth and that in future China, Russia and the Middle East will emerge as key markets for the company.
