Red Tractor assures the quality of product and animal welfare for more than 13 billion litres of milk produced in the UK.
Only products assured right the way through the supply chain are able to carry the logo.
The UK exported 163,000 tonnes of cheese and nearly 40,000 tonnes of butter in 2016. It is hoped that the work put in to developing the assurance scheme over the past 20 years would help the UK export food across the world.
