The Australian Federal Government has announced a new $50 million initiative to bolster Australia’s wine exports and tourism.

The Export and Regional Wine Support aims to boost wine exports to a record $3.5 billion, including help in marketing product to the US and China over the next three years.

The government has made strenuous efforts to sign free trade agreements which have resulted, for example, in massive increases in exports to China.
