Welsh red meat industry exporters have met up with more than 50 of Dubai’s influentialfood purchasers in an Hybu Cig Cymru-hosted networking event, aimed at boosting PGI Welsh Lamb exports in the Middle East.
“We invited Dubai’s important decision-makers from the top venues in their local food industry to sample premium Welsh Lamb, and meet some of our leading producers who are very interested in exporting to countries in the region,” said Deanna Leven, export market development executive at the Wales-based meat promotion agency.
“The evening stimulated many promising discussions, and we are hopeful good business relationships have been established that will prove fruitful to the future Welsh Lamb export market.”
