I wanted to call you to say a big thank you! This is the first import consignment we have done via R W Freight from Oskarshamn in Sweden and I have to say that it was a really urgent situation for us and you collected and delivered our cargo in double quick time! Everything went absolutely to plan and like clockwork! I was kept fully informed of the status of my shipment from time of booking right upto delivery! It's makes a change to compliment a forwarder on the fantastic service they provide! We will be opening a new a warehouse towards the end of this year and will have much larger shipments which we will be sending via your services. Thankyou! Chris

China Rice Imports down 5% from Previous Year

China’s Customs General Administration (CGA) says that China imported around 2.24 million tons of rice in the calendar year 2013, which is about 5% less than the 2.36 million tons in 2012. According to the CGA, China also exported around 478,370 tons of rice in 2013. China’s rice imports declined in the second half of 2013.

China National Grain and Oils Information Centre says that China’s rice imports in 2013 were mainly due to lower global rice prices and expects rice imports to remain at around 2.24 million tons in 2014.
