The Finnmark region in Norway will soon benefit from additional freight services supplied by a combination of rail and truck. The town of Narvik currently has three freight train services from Oslo per week.  From February there will be three additional trains per week, and a new truck service from the freight terminal in Kiruna, Sweden, will connect to the Northern towns of Alta and Kirkenes in Norway.
