Registration for the new French ecotax requires up to ten sets of documents to be completed. Many applications are being refused and returned because of incorrect or complete documentation. Registration processing can take up to six weeks, and many UK freight companies have not yet completed their applications. They will either be unable to use their vehicles in France, or receive heavy fines.
