The British International Freight Association, the trade association for freight and logistics providers, is recommending a measured approach to the report on airport capacity in the UK. The report, due to be published in December by the Airport Commission, may recommend either expansion at existing airports or a new hub airport. The association has submitted their response to the Commission in relation to the importance of air freight and the key facilitative role played by the freight forwarder and hopes that the report will lead to some action.
