According to a freight industry report recently published, the shipping capacity serving the UK’s short sea trailer and container freight demand was sufficient at the end of 2012.  Capacity is growing on the short easter Channel routes to and from the UK, on ferries through Dover or on the freight shuttles through the Channel Tunnel.
