The government of Bangladesh is expecting a large increase in exports of reasonably priced tableware to Europe. The European Commission is proposing implementing anti-dumping duties on exports of tableware from China in May in order to increase its defences against Chinese exporters. Bangladesh is hoping to capture most of the market after the tariffs have been implemented.
