Led by the export of luxury cars, the UK’s exports to China have grown over the first five months of 2012 by 201%. Although China is a minor export market for the UK, other sectors could repeat the success of the car exporters. China is re-balancing its economy towards domestic consumption, and with increasing affluence, Chinese consumers continue to demand luxury goods from Europe.
