After a rockfall near the Gotthard tunnel through the Alps in Switzerland on 5 June, passenger and freight trains have been delayed and re-routed.  The tunnel is expected to be closed for a month.

So far ten cargo trains are blocked in Switzerland and another ten in Germany. “We are looking with France and Austria for alternative routes,” said a spokesman.
