Last year Transport Minister Mike Penn, gave his unequivocal support to the Freight Transport Association’s (FTA) Logistics Carbon Reduction Schemes. This week, Transport for London launches its Anti Idling and Fuel Management campaign for commercial vehicles. The Department for Transport wants to encourage change in road haulage in the UK , with the increased use of electric vehicles and biofuels.
