A new multi modal logistics park is planned for the port of Marseilles in Southern France. It will be developed over the next five years and will be situated less than 15 km from the existing Fos freight container terminals.
Construction may begin early next year, and there will a strong emphasis on building temperature-controlled warehousing. The logistics park will also be equipped with a rail link as rail freight is a strong priority for European transport.
