Recent data reveals a significant downturn in Cameroon’s pineapple export sector, with volumes decreasing by an average of 18.1% over the five-year period from 2020 to 2025. The European Union, which remains Cameroon’s primary market for pineapple exports, has seen an even steeper decline of 19.5% during the same timeframe.
This downward trend presents both challenges and opportunities for freight forwarders operating in the West African agricultural export sector.
