Roses grown in Bangalore are experrience high demand from the export markets. Last year over 5000 kg of roses were exported by airfreight, making a 14 per cent increase over the previous year.
Rose exports from this area are high quality and remain fresh for 8 – 10 days. They are also supplied to other areas of India. This year there is great export demand for Valentine’s Day from the UAE and Europe.
