During a visit to the Royal Welsh Show in Powys, the Prime Minister announced that red tape would be cut to help Britain’s farmers export more produce. He said that 20,000 fewer farm inspections will be carried out under a new system.

The move will free up time and allow the industry to grow, boosting food and drink exports by an estimated £7 billion, according to Downing Street.
