France dominates the sector with 88% of the total Sparkling Wine imports value. When combined with Spain & Italy the percentage rises to 97%. Imports from France are up 11% vs 2022 while both Spain and Italy see marginal decreases, comparing 2023 with the previous year.
Other noteworthy events include imports from the UK, which see a dramatic increase 163% to claim the 10th position, triple digits growth in Sparkling Wine from USA (256%) and Argentina (221%), while Mexico shows a rapid decline (-60%) and drops out of the top 10 compared with last year.
