Turkey’s exports hit an all-time high for August with a 1.6% increase on an annual basis, according to preliminary Trade Ministry data released last week.

Turkish imports fell 6.3% from last year.

Germany was still the main recipient of Turkish exports with $1.8 billion in August. The US with was the next largest import recipient, followed by Iraq, the UK and Italy.
