In 2020 Vietnam accounted for more than 10 percent of the world’s footwear exports for the first time. Exports have grown five-fold since 2011.
Vietnam remained in second place with exports of 1.23 billion pairs behind only China (7.4 billion).
China and Vietnam account for 71 percent of all footwear exports.
