The Secretary of State for Communities and Local Government has decided that there will be a third  inquiry into the proposed Freight Interchange at the former Radlett airfield.  This was a surprise, at it had been previously announced that he would make a decision on the development.

It has now been decided that there will be a joint enquiry with a proposed Strategic Freight Interchange development at Colnbrook. There has been vociferous opposition to the freight terminal in Radlett which is in green belt land.
