Guernsey Post has bought a freight firm as the consequences of the Covid-19 pandemic damages its letter mail business.
The firm said buying the air and sea freight company would “strengthen and secure both businesses”.
Guernsey post said that the downward trend in letter business had “accelerated as a consequence of the global pandemic”, while parcel business has increased.
The air and sea freight services firm operates from Heathrow, Guernsey and Jersey.
