Demand for air freight in November, measured by freight tonnes, grew by 4.2 per cent compared with the previous year. The most significant growth was recorded by carriers in the Asia-Pacific and Middle East regions. The International Air Transport Association said that air freight is closely linked to world trade, and that a strong growth in cross-border trade emerged over the second half of the 2014.
