A daily rail freight connection from Teesport to Scotland has been celebrated with an official locomotive naming ceremony at Teesport.
Teesport now offers more daily freight connections to Scotland than any other port in the North, after a second Scottish service was added in response to customer demand.
The ceremony celebrated the port’s commitment to rail freight and customer service.
The locomotive was officially named the ‘Teesport Express’.
