China will import around $965.8 million worth of fresh produce from Thailand over the next three years. They will import fruit, mainly durian and mangosteen, worth RMB 5 billion from Thailand.
Imports of fresh food are becoming increasingly popular in China. China customs show that fresh food imports are on the rise: in 2018, fruit imports rose 26% year on year to 4.85 million tons worth a total of $6.9 billion.
