UK shipping and forwarding may once again face delays and unpredictable schedules as ash from the Icelandic volcano once again comes into European airspace.  So far UK airport closures have been brief, but the situation changes rapidly and shipping industry interests are hoping that cargo flights will not be too badly affected as British exporters and importers try to recover from the mayhem of a couple of weeks ago.  Winds are currently south-westerly, so the ash is not blowing towards the UK and flights are getting back to normal.
