Having averted a strike by the construction workers’ union, the Government of Norway is now faced with industrial action from hairdressers and transport workers.  Last week, workers at 12 freight terminals in Oslo were called out on strike.  Talks between the Logistics and Freight Association and the Transport Workers union broke down, amid threats that supplies of food and drink could run out quickly.  The Government Monopoly sines shops will be badly hit as about a third of all their merchandise passes through the freight terminals in Oslo.
