The biggest shipping line in Japan is forecasting considerable growth this year, due to the gradual economic recovery.  The Far Eastern economies are expecting to win an increase in Asia – US freight rates, as consumers begin to buy again toys, furniture and electronics from Asia.  The International Monetary Fund is predicting that the world economy will expand 4.2 per cent in 2010, as emerging countries like China and India lead the world out of recession.
