A ‘Shipping Confidence Survey’ has found that overall confidence in the industry have risen to their highest levels for fifteen months.  There was a noticeable increase in the numbers of respondents expecting freight rates to increase in the tanker and container ship sectors, and owners, managers and charterers were all more confident of making a major investment over the next twelve months.
