A District Court in Sweden has rejected planning permission for a new deep water port on a greenfield site at Nynaeshamn, south of Stockholm.  The current port is situated in the inner city of Stockholm, and the Port of Stockholm AB wanted to move the majority of freight traffic outside the city, to help remove congestion from the roads.  The Port Authority will appeal against the decision.
