Political delays have postponed the launch of the first MOS between France and Spain; originally planned to begin service in October, the shipping line estimates that it will be unable to begin before the end of the year.  The fourteen hour service aims to carry both accompanied and unaccompanied freight trailers on a three sailings per week between Gijon in northern Spain and Nantes-Saint Nazaire in western France.  Eventually they are hoping to increase to daily departures in each direction, taking 100 000 trucks per year.
