The Philippines agricultural food exports are expected to bounce back next year, returning to a value of about $5-billion.

According to the Philippine Food Processors and Exporters Organization Inc., the value of agricultural exports will be about $5.5 billion in 2019.

This year, exports are expected to further decline due to the rising cost of materials for agricultural produce because of lack of supply.
