Severe gales caused Felixsowe Port to close its Landguard terminal last saturday when a vessel came loose from its moorings and demolished a couple of dockside gantry cranes. There were no reported casaulties and incoming vessels were handled at the Port of Felixstowe’s Trinity terminal.
