In the period January – August 2017 Bulgarian exports to the EU increased by 11.0%, compared with the same period in 2016.
The main trade partners of Bulgaria were Germany, Italy, Romania, Greece, France and Belgium. In August 2017 the exports to the EU grew by 9.4% compared the previous August.
In the period January – August 2017 the largest growths in the exports of Bulgaria to the EU were recorded in the sections ‘Mineral fuel, lubricants and related materials’(32.0%) and ‘Manufactured goods classified chiefly by material2 ’ (29.2%).
