With the Minister for Foreign Affairs currently on a visit to China, the Chinese Vice President said that the two countries should work together to boost bilateral economic and trade cooperation. The Chinese hope to work with Norway in areas such as shipping, fisheries, energy, environmental protection and the Arctic. The VP said that China-Norway relations should develop in a healthy way, providing that the two nations respect each other’s core values.
