The Year of the Tiger begins in China on 14 February 2010. It is expected that there will be a shortage of air freight capacity; carriers have reduced the amount of capacity available due to the difficult conditions in 2009, but exports from China are on the increase and it may be difficult to find enough capacity. Freight rates remain on the high side, even thouth they have dropped dramatically from November and December highs.
