The Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport is inviting nominations for its ‘Awards for Excellence 2009’, which are designed to encourage high standards and a professional approach to the practice of logistics and transport. The Government initiative ‘Freight Best Practice’ is sponsoring an award for Logistics Best Practice, but sponsors are still needed for other categories such as Information Management and Materials Handling. The awards will be presented on 22 October 2009.
