Central and Eastern parts of China are effected by low temperatures and heavy snows which are forecast to continue until after the Chinese New Year holiday. The effected area includes Shanghai, Hangzhou, Nanjing and Whuhan. Roads have been closed and there is widespread disruption to freight movements with delays at ports and changes to sailing schedules.
