In spite of closing factories and falling exports from China, some major international express carriers are investing in the country by setting up day-definite deliveries within the domestic market. One of the proposed services will cover the Yangtze River Delta, the Bohai Economic ring and the Pearl River Delta. The Delta has been the most economically dynamic of the regions in China since the government began its reform programme in 1979, and includes the regions of Guangzhou, Shenzhen and Zhaoqqing.
