The government in Sweden is in discussion with a major shipping and forwarding company and a truck manufacturer about the possibility of ‘green corridors.’  The government’s logistics forum wants to adapt roads for freight traffic in urban areas with the aim of increasing efficiency and reducing pollution.  The idea is to open a separate green-marked lane for freight vehicles only, on major roads in urban environments.
