Freight Train Crashes in Germany

A fatal accident happened in Germany on Saturday when a freight train collided with a passenger train, leaving the driver and nine passengers dead.  The passenger train left Magdeburg Station, and shortly afterwards collied head on with a freight train which was carrying chalk.  The passenger train was thrown off the tracks.  The engineer in charge of the freight train was one of the 23 injured people, and has not been able to give a statement.
