The latest storm compounds an already challenging situation for the global freight sector, as major ports along the eastern coast of China continue to experience significant delays and congestion. More than two weeks on from the passage of Typhoon Bavi, operations at several key gateways have yet to return to normal, resulting in prolonged vessel waiting times and cargo backlogs.
